The Old Road Wine Co tells the story of special old vines grown in rugged corners of the Franschhoek wine country. The fruit of these vines born in 1936, show the grace and tenacity exemplified by a family matriarch or grandmother.                                                                                                                                                                                            TASTING NOTES
The wine is opens with delicate notes of red berries and sour cherry, gently woven with hints of spice. On the palate, pure fruit carries a quiet earthiness, lifted by touches of white pepper and savoury nuance.
