The birthplace of this Semillon is the ancient vineyard of La Colline, planted in 1936. Our Grand-Mère, meaning 'grandmother', is elegant and refined - qualities that can only be forged by time and endurance.

Planted in 1982, the worn smooth stones of a meandering trail tells the story of dedicated farm hands that tend to this heritage vineyard.

Our vineyard is guarded by a Verreaux eagle on the slopes of the mountain. The South Easterly wind cools these slopes and creates the peppery spices of this unique wine.

Old Road Wine Co. preserves and interprets Certified Heritage old vines rooted in the rugged corners of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Named after the historic Cape Colony currency, the Rix Dollar honours a Certified Heritage bush vine planted in Stellenbosch in 1974, celebrating rarity, patience and enduring value. Shaped by decades of growth, this wine is a quiet expression of terroir, tradition and the lasting legacy of old vines.

This Chenin Blanc takes its name from the ancient Greek word for "wind". Anemos reveals the wild nature of its birthplace, retained by handpicked grapes and natural fermentation processes.

From the Swartland, this Syrah reflects the boldness of the postman of old. This messenger always made his 12 mile journey to deliver - never deterred, rain or shine.

The Smous was the local trader who would travel far and wide with his trusty truck filled with provisions of every shape and kind.

Le Courier of old was a bastion of commitment, bringing the villagers their daily fresh foods.

The Anvil recognises the local blacksmith, who forged iron with his sledge and anvil over an open fire to create items that were both necessities and works of art.

The Fat Man was an institution at the local train station, where he would greet new and familiar faces with a friendly smile and interesting anecdote, always accompanied by his loyal hound.
